Take a deep dive into a challenging case about a business currently operating in Africa.

Discuss contemporary African business challenges while networking with experienced Africa business practitioners, Yale World Fellows and students from leading business schools.

The Africa Business Practicum (ABP) is an annual Africa-focused symposium that began in 2014 at the Yale School of Management. ABP offers a valuable learning and networking opportunity for students and professionals interested in the African economic growth story.

ABP is a first-of-its-kind, hands-on workshop that focuses on addressing critical problems faced by real businesses operating in Africa. Using a case-based approach, participants form teams to explore the challenges and opportunities of doing business on the continent and discuss potential solutions with industry experts, faculty and renowned Yale World Fellows. Cases will be analyzed from multiple management perspectives to give participants a more holistic approach to organizational problem solving.
